Business Development Manager - Houston

Our Client, a Reliability and Maintenance Consultancy, are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their Houston office.

Candidates must have the right to work in Houston and have a strong existing network within the Oil & Gas and/or Power Generation Operators in Houston/North America

 

 

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Following up on new business opportunities and setting up meetings
  • Identifying Houston based clients and setting up meetings with decision makers
  • Report sales activity into Business Development in Aberdeen (weekly/monthly)
  • Work alongside Technical and Operations team in Houston office
  • Present a professional and honest image that reflects the culture of the Client

Business Development Planning

  • Identify, attend and present at key industry conferences (IQPC Operational Excellence, IDAC)
  • Research and gain knowledge of market and competitor trends and develop BD strategy accordingly
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients

General

  • Prepare a 90 day initial plan and an annual business plan covering relevant goals and objectives
  • Promote a culture of growth through new business wins
  • Gain an understanding of what makes the Client market leaders in the industry
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills required
