Training Coordinator

Our client is looking for a Training Coordinator for a 2-3 month contract position, located in Blackburn, Aberdeen.

The Training Coordinator’s role will be to carry out the booking arrangements for all statutory and additional training, and provide full support to the Learning and Development Manager UK for training activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Maintain a data base/calendar of all training taking place

  • Maintenance of training matrix for all rigs

  • Liaison with Training providers for best rates and availability

  • Book statutory and other training courses as required and requests

  • Liaise with Rig Managers and HR Co-ordinators on requirements and arrangements

  • Issue all joining instructions to delegates

  • Arrange accommodation when required

  • Co-ordinate the evaluation of training and produce reports

  • Support with Competency updates

  • Invoice approval

  • Liaison with other group companies as appropriate

  • Support for Training projects and function development

  • Promote a proactive approach towards the L&D support function

  • Any other task as delegated by the UK L&D Manager

  • An up to date record of all ongoing training and competency activities completed

  • All training requirements are met within required times

  • Arrangements made within agreed turn-around

  • Cost efficient training provision

  • There may also be a requirement to visit and work at other company locations
