VAT and Payroll Co-ordinator

Our client is looking for a VAT and Payroll Co-ordinator for a 6 month contract position, located in Blackburn, Aberdeen

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Administration of new VAT and PAYE registrations

  • Payroll – submission of RTO to HMRC

  • Issue P45’s and P60’s

  • submission of mandate forms to HMRC

  • Sending VAT reminders to clients

  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns

  • Seeking client authority to submit VAT returns

  • Processing of quarterly VAT and monthly PAYE payments

  • Processing and submission of contractor and sub-contractor CIS

  • Processing weekly and monthly payrolls

  • Set up and monitoring of client pensions

  • De-registering clients for VAT and PAYE

  • Monitoring deadlines

  • Year End processing

  • Apply for Tax refunds

  • Monitor statutory payments i.e. Maternity Pay

  • Assist Accounts Team with any queries

  • Early year updates

  • Any other reasonable duties as required by the Practice Manager
